I have taken my dog to Burncoat park and where the park abuts the on ramp for I-290 there is ample room for a dog park which should include access to the pond as well. The funds needed should come from the dog licencing fees. Which right now go to a general fund.
Tomcatworcester, this site is not just for voter ( and I feel it's a copout to put ALL faults to not voting ) He did a good comment ,for this site,in that he brought up another area in a City Park ( Burncoat) that has room for a dog "space" . I wish more people would write in other areas. The City of Worcester has more park acreage than any other city in Mass.,and they all are more advanced in park management then we are.
